I am so excited you're here! Journaling is such a great way to clear your mind and focus on what matters most to you. But it can also be daunting if you don't know how to start. That's why I created these journal prompts for you to do for the next 5 days. It is important to take a few minutes to think about the questions and really put effort into these prompts to get the most out of them :)
Enjoy!
Day 1
What are you grateful for?
Take a minute to close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths. Really think about your life. Think about how lucky you are to be where you are in this very moment. Did you think that you would be here 5 years ago? Be grateful for everything that has brought you to this moment. Write out "I am grateful for"... for each thing that you are grateful for. Whether it is big or small.
Some examples are:
"I am grateful for the sunshine". "I am grateful for my job". "I am grateful for my family". "I am grateful for my morning cup of coffee". "I am grateful for my car". "I am grateful for my cat".
It is important to remember how blessed we are. It is easy to get caught up in all the 'bad' that has happened to us. But don't forget about all of the good. Take a look at the list you have written and feel a deep sense of gratitude for it all. I am grateful for you for being here and doing this exercise. I hope you carry this sense of gratitude with you throughout the day. See you tomorrow for Day 2!
