5 Days of Journaling: Day 5

This is the last day of this journaling series! I hope you've enjoyed it and have learned more about yourself. You can repeat all of these prompts as much as you want. I do the gratitude and affirmations daily.


Day 5

Today's journal topic is your future.

This isn't meant to scare you or make you anxious. Look at it as a way to manifest what you want your life to look like. Answer these questions:

  1. What does your life look like in 5 years? What are you doing for work? Do you live in the same place? Do you have a significant other? Where do you want to be? Who do you want to be?

  2. What does your life look like in 10 years? Are you happy? Imagine your life in 10 years and write down everything about it. From where you live, to your friends, to your car, to your pets. Of course we don't actually know what the heck is going to happen in 10 years but it is important to think about what you would like to happen.

Once you have written down what you want your life to look like, write down a few things that you have to do in order to get there. For example if you see yourself as a lawyer in 10 years, you would have to go to law school and pass the bar in order to do that. Write down those steps that are necessary to get to where you want to be. Know that whatever you want is possible. You have to believe in yourself and actually take action to make it happen.


Thank you so much for coming along with me on this journaling journey! I love it so much and the best part is going back through my journals and seeing everything that I was thinking and feeling in that moment. I hope these exercises brought you a sense of peace and centeredness!
